To my This is the only illuminated PLEXI TOPPER support kit for the SEGA ARCADE ASTRO/NEW ASTRO CITY cabinet, ever made and offered for sale via PLUG'N PLAY, at a price of €55 + Shipping (€10 via MONDIAL RELAY for the countries concerned).
This kit includes:
- My "XINARCADE ASTRO TOPPER LIGHT SYSTEM" support with switch,
- A USB extension cable,
- A USB charger,
- Adhesive cable ties,
- Two screws to secure the support behind the cabinet.
This stand is compatible with all original SEGA ASTRO/NEW ASTRO CITY Plexiglas TOPPERS up to 5mm thick, and therefore with all my Plexiglas TOPPERS available for sale in my store.
You can order a Plexiglas Topper Light Stand Kit for your ASTRO/NEW ASTRO CITY Arcade Cabinet, suitable for the original Topper, for an additional €10, but I do not recommend it. Since this is a system that diffuses light onto the surface of the Plexiglas plate, if you have an original topper with numerous scratches from wear, these will be extremely visible.
This problem does not occur at all with my TOPPERS, since they are new and come with a protective film on both sides, guaranteeing a perfect, scratch-free surface.
